Neocatechumenal Way shares its work and mission with local priests - 7 November 2013

"To form christian communities like the Holy Family of Nazareth living in Humility, Simplicity & Praise and where the other is Christ"

The Neocatechumenal Way was welcomed into the Archdiocese of Singapore by the late Archbishop Gregory Yong in 1978. Today, there are 7 communities, present in 5 parishes. (St. Bernadette, St. Francis of Assisi, Holy Trinity, St. Anthony and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary). 

There are about 300 members, comprising families, adults and young people from all walks of life with different educational, social, and racial backgrounds. 

The Neocatechumenal Way was born in Madrid, Spain, in the early 1960's. The initiators of the Neocatechumenal Way are Francisco (Kiko) Argüello, Carmen Hernández and Fr. Maria Pezzi. The charism of the Neocatechumenal Way is "To form Christian Communities like the Holy Family of Nazareth. That they may live in Humility, Simplicity and Praise and where the other is Christ".
